I had the opportunity to photograph New York City from a new development project. Being seventy stories over the city is an amazing feeling. It did pose some challenges. I was shooting off a working construction site so I was restricted as to where I could shoot. Setting up the tripod to get the shots I wanted was challenging. When you shoot at sunset and twilight the light changes continually. You have to move quickly and set your shots up or else you'll miss them. Another challenge was the wind. It was fine until the sun set and then it really picked up. I couldn't stabilize the tripod to keep it in focus. I was able to eventually but I shot at least 10 shots to get one in focus.
It was an amazing experience and one I would absolutely do again.
